The 'Taksh' brocade blouse in black features motifs inspired by a 7th-century mural depicting a scene from the Mahajanaka Jataka at the Ajanta Caves in Maharashtra. The scene is stylised in the manner of French Toile de Jouy prints, bringing its intricate details into the language of Varanasi brocades.
This textile may reflect natural variations within yarn, color, weave and/or embroidery.
Made to Order: This product is made to order. Standard production time is 4-5 weeks.
Dry Clean only. Store garment in a muslin cloth away from sunlight in a dry environment. Air the textile every few months.
