The 'Sivali' brocade sari in green features motifs inspired by a 7th-century mural depicting a scene from the Mahajanaka Jataka at the Ajanta Caves in Maharashtra. The scene is stylised in the manner of French Toile de Jouy prints, bringing its intricate details into the language of Varanasi brocades. The sari features an indigo fall.
