'Risani' sari in jamuni purple Varanasi silk brocade features butis of flowers and the sun woven with gold zari in the elaborate Kadwa technique, where each motif is woven individually utilizing an extra weft insertion, and the reverse of the textile reveals the absence of thread floats.

Blouse worn by the model is not included.

This handwoven textile reflects natural variations within yarn, color, weave and/or embroidery.
