'Farooqui' red pant is made in Varanasi silk brocade and drawn from the flora and fauna motifs seen in Persian carpets. It is woven using the elaborate Kadwa technique featuring zari in the negative spaces to give the textile a smooth finish and also to avoid float (irregular threads) on the reversible size of the textile.
Blouse is not included.
Natural variations in colours and weave are part of the textile, as it is handwoven.
Dry Clean only. Store garment in a muslin cloth away from sunlight in a dry environment. Air the textile every few months.
