'Lodha' skirt in metallic grey Varanasi silk brocade has a weave of Marsh Crocodile in silver and copper that come together - intertwined to create a form, It is fastened with custom-made brass buttons with black enamel detailing.
Model is 173cm/5'7" and is wearing a size Small skirt.
Natural variations in colours and weave are part of the textile, as it is handwoven.

INDIAN MARSH CROCODILE (Crocodylus palustris)
The Marsh Crocodile is mainly found in the freshwater ecosystems (marshes, lakes, rivers and artificial ponds). A very good swimmer, in the dry season they walk on the ground at night searching for water and remain submerged in the water throughout the day. Their population is threatened mostly by habitat destruction, including entanglement in fishnets.
